Animal's Best Friend Award!

Each year the RIVMA give out an award to a citizens in Rhode Island that has done outstanding work with animals. The people that nominate this person are vets and tech's within the state that show that this person has gone above and beyond what most do for animals in they're everyday life.

I was nominated for and won this award this year from the Ferguson Animal Hospital Staff and Dr.'s and the North Providence Animal Shelter. Dr. Sue Saslaw and Dr. Christina Lorenson and the entire staff at the hospital and all of the other Animal Control Officers that I work with at the shelter.

I cannot express how much respect and admiration I have for all those who I work with each day in helping all the animals. I live my life saving animals and helping those that also help and love animals. I am surrounded by great people who spend they're days searching for feral kittens, trapping cats, transporting and returning cats, spaying and neutering dogs and cats for those who are financially unable to afford it, but love they're animals as family members.

I am so honored to recieve this award. The rewards are great enough working with animals....but to have this given to me is just very humbling.
